Terms of Service
By using Pickier you agree to these terms.
What the app does
Pickier is a job-search tool that:
- Builds a structured profile from material you provide (résumé, voice intro, Q&A answers).
- Scores public job postings against that profile.
- Drafts cover letters and tailored résumés you review and edit.
- Generates interview-preparation material grounded in your profile.
It does not apply to jobs on your behalf. It does not guarantee matches, interviews, offers, or employment outcomes.
AI-generated content
Drafting and matching use AI (a third-party provider). The app is built so drafts never invent facts about you. Anything it can't ground in your profile becomes a visible fill-in prompt, but AI output can still contain mistakes. You review and approve every draft before it leaves the app, and you are responsible for the content of anything you send under your own name.
Your responsibilities
- Don't enter information that isn't yours. Profile content, achievements, skills, all of it should accurately represent you.
- Review every draft before sending. If a draft contains a claim you can't substantiate, edit or remove it first.
- Don't paste job URLs that are behind a login or covered by an NDA. The parsed job joins a shared cache visible to other users.
- Don't submit content that infringes someone else's rights.
Subscriptions (Pickier Pro)
- Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription purchased through the Apple App Store (monthly or six months; prices shown in-app before purchase).
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled first. One trial per Apple ID.
- Payment is processed by Apple; refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Prices may change; existing subscribers get advance notice and the change applies from the next renewal.
Our responsibilities
- We provide the service in good faith and aim to keep it running, but we don't promise uptime or availability.
- We use a third-party AI provider for AI features. If that provider's service is down, parts of the app won't work.
Limitations
- No employment guarantees. Scoring and drafts are AI-generated recommendations, not legal, financial, or career advice.
- No warranty. The service is provided "as is".
- No liability for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from use of the service.
Account termination
You may stop using the app at any time, and you can permanently delete your account in-app (Profile → Delete account). We may suspend access if we detect abuse, harm to other users, or violation of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
If we have a dispute that we can't resolve by email, it will be heard in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, and both you and we consent to those courts. Either of us may bring an eligible claim in small claims court instead.
Before filing anything, please email support@pickier.app. Most problems get fixed faster that way.
Changes to these terms
If terms change materially, you'll see a notice in the app.
